Gordon has 27 years of experience in the design, manufacture and supply of complex machines for land based, offshore and sub-sea applications, Combined with this, is 20 years’ experience as a company director which has included responsibility for all aspects of company management and development. Gordon worked at Bywell Holdings Group from 1983 until 1993, initially as design engineer with Soil Machine Dynamics and latterly as Managing Director of Pearson Reelotech, before forming PCT Ltd in 1993.
Julian Steward, Business Development Director
CEng pHd Mechanical Engineering
Julian is a PhD Mechanical Engineering graduate from Newcastle University. He has over 20 years’ experience in the offshore equipment supply and installation industry with SMD, CTC Marine and Aker Marine Contractors. Julian has executed a multitude of roles including Design, Project & Engineering Management and Business Development. Julian joined PCT in July 2011 as Business Development Director, with special responsibility for the development of Non-plastics and offshore activities
Andrew Batchelor, Operations Director
BEng Mining Engineering
Andrew has a BEng in Mining Engineering from Newcastle University. He gained 16 years’ experience with SMD for the design and manufacture of offshore and subsea equipment supply before undertaking significant project management roles with Imtech Marine & Offshore and Wellstream International. Andrew joined PCT in June 2008 as Operations Director with special responsibility for manufacturing, project management and HSEQ.
Joe Robinson, Technical Director
PhD Agricultural Engineering
Joe has a PhD Agric. Engineering from Newcastle University, graduating in 1990. Since then, he has gained over 15 years’ experience working with offshore control systems design and commission. Joe has been the Technical Director at PCT since 2003 with his engineering responsibilities ranging from system analysis of proposed projects, design review of design & assembly, to system commission. Joe also focusses on control system design for electronic drives and fast sequence programs.
